Zhengzhou Zhongyuan Cellulose Co., Ltd. is a Henan-based manufacturer of Pre-gelatinized Starch, Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC), Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC), Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS) and related cellulose ether and modified starch products. The company has established technical experience and production equipment, with annual production capacity exceeding 30,000 tonnes.
Application strengths are organized by product: Pre-gelatinized Starch and HPMC support dry-mix mortar, tile adhesives, wall putty, gypsum and thermal-insulation systems; CMC grades are used in mosquito coils, cellulose for briquetting, paste putty and related industrial formulations; CMS is applied in refractory materials, lost foam coatings, 821 putty powder and selected oilfield, textile and coating systems.
Our standardized workflow covers raw material preparation, process control, drying, blending, batch inspection and export packing. Backed by cooperation with Zhengzhou University, research institutes and industry technicians, we continue product optimization and provide selection, sample and application support for customers worldwide.

2007
Brand Upgrade and Technical Iteration
The company was renamed Zhengzhou Zhongyuan Cellulose Co., Ltd. and deepened cooperation with Zhengzhou University. New products such as pre-gelatinized starch, M6 powder and high-viscosity powder expanded application potential.
2018
Plant Expansion and Equipment Renewal
The company relocated to the Huojia Industrial Agglomeration Area and built a 1,600-square-metre standardized workshop. Full production-line upgrades strengthened scale, efficiency and product quality.
2020
Customization Upgrade and Full-Scope Service
An 800-square-metre compounding workshop enabled personalized product customization and OEM/ODM services. The company evolved into an integrated new-material service provider combining R&D, production and customization.
2025
Focused Segments and Application Breakthroughs
The company worked with a well-known domestic chemical research institute to optimize CMC production for special operating conditions, improving performance and practical application results in the coal-chemical industry.

University-Enterprise Collaboration and Innovation Support
